There is no pre-trib rapture, only two resurrections of the quick and the dead

Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

1 Corinthians 15:51-52 King James Bible (Pure Cambridge Edition)

The word of God does not use the word rapture but speaks of being changed or translated at the last trump.

Note, last means last, not a trump that doesn’t exist before the tribulation (or 70th week). There are also 7 trumps when the wrath of God pours out onto the beast worshipping world. The last trump comes after those 7 trumps on the single day of the Lord at his coming when believers meet him in the air before he returns. That last trump is truly the 8th trump, which the number 8 denotes new beginnings.

Let us rightly divide (as commanded) when the first resurrection will be for the believers at the last trump.

Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Revelation 20:6 King James Bible (Pure Cambridge Edition)

The first resurrection is at the last trump (8th trump) on the day of the Lord when he returns which is prior to the Lord starting his 1,000-year reign on the earth from Jerusalem.

And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.

Acts 10:42 King James Bible (Pure Cambridge Edition)

It is for the quick, which are believers that are quickened by his Spirit.

Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

Ephesians 2:5 King James Bible (Pure Cambridge Edition)

On the literal and singular day of the Lord the last trump shall sound and believers will meet him in the air.

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 King James Bible (Pure Cambridge Edition)

The quick in the first resurrection will meet the Lord in the air when he cometh with clouds.

Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

Revelation 1:7 King James Bible (Pure Cambridge Edition)

Some people will say (wrongly) that he has not appointed his body (the church) unto wrath with the following scripture:

For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

1 Thessalonians 5:9 King James Bible (Pure Cambridge Edition)

This is talking about the eternal wrath of God which is the lake of fire after the second resurrection for the dead (in trespasses and sins).

For the believers that live godly, you have this as your retirement plan:

As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

Romans 8:36 King James Bible (Pure Cambridge Edition)

and…

Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

2 Timothy 3:12 King James Bible (Pure Cambridge Edition)

Lastly, think of why Paul would charge Timothy with the following:

I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession; That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ: Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.

1 Timothy 6:14-16 King James Bible (Pure Cambridge Edition)

Why would the apostle Paul charge Timothy to keep this commandment without spot, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ if he was getting raptured out ahead of time? It makes no sense because it is nonsense.

Now, let us move unto the second resurrection for the damned.

But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

Revelation 20:5 King James Bible (Pure Cambridge Edition)

The second resurrection comes after the thousand-year reign of the Lord Jesus Christ from Jerusalem.

And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

Revelation 20:12-13 King James Bible (Pure Cambridge Edition)

The second resurrection is for the dead.

And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

Ephesians 2:1 King James Bible (Pure Cambridge Edition)

That is why he is the judge of the quick (believers) and the dead (those that died in their sins).

The second resurrection will be done so the damned of all ages will stand before God and are judged at the great white throne judgment before being cast.

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Revelation 20:15 King James Bible (Pure Cambridge Edition)

Make sure you can prove your name is in the book of life while in the land of the living here.

We conclude by saying that it is simple to see there is no pre-trib rapture and no rapture in general, only two resurrections, one for the quick on the literal singular day of the Lord and the second for the dead after the 1,000-year kingdom of the Lord on the earth.

But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

2 Corinthians 11:3 King James Bible (Pure Cambridge Edition)

There is simplicity in Christ when you are established having the mutual faith of Paul which is taught here.

Otherwise, know this, all mankind will hear his voice eventually, it will just be a matter of what resurrection you will be a part of, the first or the second.

Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

John 5:28-29 King James Bible (Pure Cambridge Edition)

  1. Thank You Marco! Awaiting Mr. Biden’s address to the Nation coming up sometime today. I’m more eagerly awaiting Jesus and the end of the evil going on.
